The 96th Academy Awards season officially began as the highly anticipated Oscar nominees were revealed at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in the glitzy center of Hollywood. A fascinating race to the Oscars was put in motion when the candidates were announced amid a buzz of excitement and anticipation. The nominations for this year's Oscars featured a wide range of movies with interesting plots and genres. "Oppenheimer," "Barbie," and "Killers of the Flower Moon" were the front-runners and emerged as formidable candidates, earning nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor/Actress among other categories. A strong field of films was present for the Best Picture category, with "American Fiction," "Anatomy of a Fall," and "Poor Things" among the front-runners.
